Haigerloch is a community in the Zollernalbkreis district in the southwest of Germany in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. Together with eight other villages the number of inhabitants of Haigerloch gets to 10,500.
Haigerloch was part of the Swabian line of Hohenzollern until the first half of the 19th century. The Lutheran Reformation couldn’t succeed in this region for a number of reasons.
The ‘handful of Protestants‘ in the 1850ies has become a parish with about 1900 members today (2017).
